Elegant bushy plant 40 cm high with fine, dark green foliage and beautiful white flowers. It prefers calcareous, rather stony soil and a dry exposure. Culture like thyme or lavender: 5 pl / m2. It also breeds by clump division in March April. The whole plant is very aromatic, with a spicy flavor (we call it donkey pepper in Provence!); harvest before or during flowering. Tonic and digestive. It is made an excellent liqueur by letting a few sprigs macerate for a few weeks in a good brandy. Filter and sweeten.
