Fruit cylindrical, half-long (12 x 1.5 cm), thornless for at least 1/3 of the length. Intermediary between the little one in Paris and that of Bourbonne. Thick and tasty flesh.
Same crop as cucumbers but generally in the open field. The fruits are picked young, shortly after fruit set, when they are the size of a finger. They are candied in vinegar, with tarragon, dill and small white onions.
